Start with the table version
Three Card Poker is a house-banked casino game, not a multiplayer poker table. A common version uses an Ante, an equal Play decision after the cards are dealt, and optional side bets such as Pair Plus or a six-card bonus. Names, qualifying rules and paytables can vary.
Before using any strategy or house-edge figure, record the exact game title, provider, Ante Bonus table, side-bet table, dealer qualification rule and review date. AsiaCoinPoker did not enter the current CoinPoker client, so this page does not claim which version or limits are available in a particular account.
How a common regulated version resolves
- The player places an Ante and may place optional side bets.
- The player and dealer receive three cards. The player folds or places a Play wager equal to the Ante.
- If the dealer does not qualify with at least Queen high, the Ante pays even money and the Play wager pushes.
- If the dealer qualifies, the two hands are compared. The higher hand wins; equal hands push.
- Ante Bonus and side bets are settled under their posted paytables and may not depend on the dealer result.
This sequence matches a Nevada Gaming Control Board published rules document and CoinPoker's public guide. It is a reference model, not proof that the current online table uses the same optional bets or payouts.
Three-card hand order differs from five-card poker

Capture every paytable before comparing odds
A payout headline does not describe the whole game. Photograph or record all rows for the Ante Bonus, Pair Plus and any six-card side bet. Confirm whether quoted odds are “to 1” profit or include return of stake, and whether a named top hand has its own category.
CoinPoker currently publishes figures for its game, while the Nevada rules document includes multiple approved bonus tables. That variation is why this guide does not repeat a single Pair Plus payout or house-edge percentage as universal. A strategy threshold is only meaningful for the exact main-game rules and paytable it was calculated for.
Calculate the amount committed per continued hand
Enter the wagers shown on your screen. The result is stake arithmetic only; it does not estimate wins, losses, RTP or the probability of continuing a hand.
Folding loses the Ante in the reference rules, while optional side bets can remain active. Repeated-hands totals are turnover, not the amount a player will necessarily lose.
