Rewards exceed the included fees. This is not poker profit: winnings, losses and other costs are outside this calculation.
Net cost = rake + membership fees − cash rewards. Net rebate = (cash rewards − membership fees) ÷ rake × 100%. A zero rake has no defined rebate percentage.
Worked example: 1,000 in fees + 30 membership cost − 100 cash rewards = 930 net cost. Net rebate is 7%, not the 10% obtained by ignoring membership cost. With 10,000 hands, the fee cost is 9.30 per 100 hands. These are illustrative figures, not a platform offer.
A bigger reward can still cost more
Example A: 300 fees, 30 rewards and 20 membership cost leaves 290 net cost. Example B: 260 fees and no rewards leaves 260 net cost. Compare the same games, volume, period and currency; comparing percentages alone misses the cost difference.
What belongs in the calculation?
- Count only your attributable rake or entry fees, not the whole table pot or tournament prize contribution.
- Use rewards already credited as usable cash. Do not value a ticket, random future prize or locked bonus as cash at face value.
- Include the membership charge for the same reporting period. Do not allocate a whole year's rewards against a single month's fee.
- Count a transferred reward once. Moving it between reward balance and wallet does not create a second reward.
This tool reconciles past fees and cash credits. It does not forecast leaderboard results, price tickets, estimate win rates or prove that a promotion is suitable. Compare your result with account records before relying on it.
